UCM brings camera and audio checks, manual or scheduled recording, in-session status monitoring, and post-recording file management into one Windows-based workflow for schools, tutoring centers, and training organizations.

This public website provides product information only. Recording and file handling take place in the UCM Windows application and your institution’s environment.

Before the first lesson

Test first.
Then schedule.

01

About 45 seconds to screen A/V sync

With the selected camera and audio source, the self-test records flashes and beeps near the beginning, middle, and end, then reports pass, caution, or indeterminate. It is an early warning tool; the completed lesson file still requires actual playback acceptance.

02

Screen compatibility without a license key

The compatibility check uses the intended camera, audio device, and computer for up to about 30 seconds, then reviews file completeness, actual FPS, timeline stalls, CPU, memory, disk, and hardware-encoding availability. It supports pre-deployment screening; it is not certification or formal acceptance.

03

Start weekly recordings from the timetable

Authorized staff can set recurring weekly recordings with course, teacher, classroom, and filename information. UCM can run from the Windows system tray and notify staff when a session starts, completes, fails, or is missed. The PC must remain signed in and awake with UCM running; sleeping computers are not awakened and missed sessions are not recorded afterward.

What UCM helps you control

Check in class.
Verify the file.

01

Monitor and protect the active recording

UCM monitors actual FPS, recording progress, CPU, storage, and device status. Under sustained CPU pressure, it reduces non-essential preview and background work while keeping the current segment's resolution, FPS, encoder, and bitrate unchanged. This mitigates risk; it is not a zero-drop-frame guarantee, and the saved file must still be played after class.

02

Keep recordings manageable

Course naming, manual or scheduled recording, and file handling help authorized teams retain and organize lesson recordings.

03

Prepare recordings for delivery

After a recording with audio is finalized, UCM can queue an MP3 export and show its status without changing the source video. Built-in editing can trim, split, or remove segments and export a new MP4. Optional ASR and OCR create text for human review; with explicit consent, AI can turn reviewed text and class information into an editable handout draft without uploading the course video itself. Completed recordings can also enter a visible, retryable queue automatically for a writable NAS or an authorized YouTube destination. The institution sets YouTube visibility in advance, while the local source remains unchanged.

UCM connects live status, completed-file checks, recoverable transfer work, and support diagnostics, so staff are not left with a single “recording” indicator.

  1. DURING CLASSLIVE STATUS

    Separate monitor and recording FPS

Actual preview frame arrival and recording FPS are shown separately with numeric values, helping staff distinguish monitor conditions from the recorded stream.

    A recording health summary

Completed-file checks cover integrity, audio, synchronization, actual FPS, segment or finalization status, and storage warnings. Playback acceptance is still required.

  3. DURING TRANSFERSOURCE RETAINED

    Recoverable upload work

NAS and YouTube jobs expose queue status and, where applicable, pause, resume, cancel, or retry controls. A failed transfer does not delete the local source.

    Export support diagnostics

Authorized staff can export environment and diagnostic details for support, reducing reliance on screenshots and verbal descriptions.

Privacy note: Camera passwords should not be included in the diagnostic package. Institutions should inspect exported contents under their own policy before sharing.
